BANJARNEGARA, A small town with the beautiful sundry

Banjarnegara is my beloved hometown. It’s a small town located between Wonosobo and Purwokerto. Most of Banjarnegara areas are highland, so the weather is cool. It rains almost everyday when rainy season comes.

There are many beautiful places in Banjarnegara, for example Dieng plateau, Serayu river, Lawe hill, Curug Pitu, etc. Dieng plateau is the most popular tourist destination in Banjarnegara. Part of it belongs to Wonosobo. That’s why sometimes it’s to be controversy between Banjarnegara and Wonosobo. There are many tourism objects in Dieng plateau. They are Kawah Sikidang, Danau Condrodimuko, Candi Arjuna, and others. I recommended you to visit Dieng plateau. I’m sure you will never forget about it and regret of visiting it.

Serayu river is the biggest and the longest river in Banjarnegara. The water flow is very hard it’s often used to do water sports such as arung jeram. There has ever been an International arung jeram competition. It’s the biggest event ever held in Banjarnegara.

There are many special foods and drinks in Banjarnegara. They are salak, apem, combro, mendoan, and the most popular drink is dawet ayu Banjarnegara. Yet you can also find dawet ayu Banjarnegara in many places but it has different taste from the original dawet ayu Banjarnegara.

My mother, the spirit of my life

Sri Yanti is my mother. She is tall and slim. She has black curly hair. She is about 46 years old but she looks younger than her age. She is a teacher of SD N 4 Krandegan, Banjarnegara. She is a smart and diligent teacher. She often accompanies her students to join competition in other cities. She is very talkative. She is often angry with me and my brothers especially when we make mistakes.

I’m very proud of her because she never looks sad although she has many problems. My mother never tells me about her problems. But I know if she has a problem because her eyes can not lie. She will go to bed earlier without saying anything if she has many problems. Actually, I want to help her but I don’t know what I can do for her. I just pray for her in order that she can solve her problem and I can see her beautiful smile again. If I or my brothers are sick she will very discouraged of us and she will give us more care for our health. We love her so much. My mother is my spirit of my life.

WHO AM I?

Mlathi Paramesthi, it’s a simple name given by my parents. Most people call me Mlathi. I was born in a small beautiful town named Banjarnegara on November 28th 1990.

I’m an ordinary girl but I have unordinary life story. People who don’t know about me will think that I’m a calm girl. Actually, I’m a fussy girl so I easy to get friends. I like challenges so I like trying a new thing to get more experiences.

When I was in a Senior High School, I never joined with any student association or the other activities so I have no experiences besides studying and hanging out with my friends. Now I try to join with a student association to get more experiences.

In my opinion, I’m a girl who has a combination of personality character between sanguinis and plegmatis. But the sanguinis character is more dominant. As a sanguin, I’m very talkative and friendly. I like having many friends. I get many knowledge and spectacular experiences with them. I’m very enthusiastic in doing something new and challenging. If I have a desire, I’m very ambitious to reach my desire and I’m ready to compete with others. But sometimes I’m very lazy finishing my work so the result is messy and unsatisfied.

As a plegmatis, I’m an ordinary girl who doesn’t like wearing colorful clothes. I like to keep my feeling to others. I prefer to keep silent if I have a problem. Someone ever said to me that I have a koleris character when he saw my eyes. I don’t know exactly his reason saying like that. I ever been a leader in a big event, but I don’t want to be a koleris because a koleris will oppress his/her members. I have a dream that I want to be a leader in a company but I’ll be a good leader and will not oppress my members because a leader can not do anything without his/her members.

Never Ending Controversy between Indonesia and Malaysia

Indonesia and Malaysia are one clump countries. Its have some similarity, for example the language. Malaysia using melayu as their national language is similar with Indonesian. Actually we have a good relationship but we have a never ending controversy since the problem of Indonesian culture claimed by Malaysia.

The controversy began when Malaysia sold Sipadan Ligitan and Ambalat islands which are belongs to Indonesia. Sipadan Ligitan and Ambalat are small islands located in Indonesia but they are nearer with Malaysia.

Then turn up the problem of Indonesian culture which is claimed by Malaysia. Malaysia used Rasa Sayange song as a jingle of Malaysian tourism promotion. Rasa Sayange is a folk song coming from Maluku, Indonesia. It is always sung heredity to show their love to the environment and socialization among Maluku’s society. Malaysia claims that Rasa Sayange song is their own. But Indonesia can give evidence that Rasa Sayange song is belongs to Indonesia. Rasa Sayange is firstly recorded in Lokananta record company located in Solo 1962.

Pendet dance is a traditional dance coming from Bali. It is a sacred dance which is used in the religion ritual of Hindu in Bali. But suddenly Malaysia claims that it was their own.

Not only Rasa Sayange song, Pendet dance but also angklung and batik are claimed by Malaysia as their own. Indonesian people are very angry because of this case. Then controversy uses virtual world is begin. Both Indonesia and Malaysia cavil at each other.

Indonesian bluecollar workers and craftsmen employed overseas which is called TKI in Malaysia to be victims of this controversy. Many TKI in Malaysia are tortured by their boss and they didn’t get their payment appropriated with the agreement before. Many TKI in Malaysia are done like an animal even some TKI were die because of the torturing there.

Controversy between Indonesia and Malaysia occurs until now. The relationship between us is broken. I hope this problem can be solved as soon as possible. So, Indonesia and Malaysia can be a good partner and rebuild a good relationship between us. There are many innocent people to be the victims of this problem. It will be better if we are together because together we are invincible.

Arti Sahabat

(Henry B. Eyring )

Friendship isn’t how to forget, but how you forgive.

Not how you listen, but how you understand.

Not how you see, but how you feel.

Not how you let go, but how you hold on!

Terimakasih telah menjadi sahabat baik ku. ^_^
